The project addresses the visibility needs of both business and government in the international flow of containerised cargo by developing a data sharing concept that allows an extended assessment of risks by both business and government.

The more than 30.000 staff members of the Tax and Customs Administration are responsible for a wide range of activities. The Dutch customs authorities do their utmost to utilise the possibilities provided by European legislation to facilitate the movement of goods, whilst still maintaining an adequate level of customs control. Whenever possible, an integrated approach is taken.
